삼위일체론 제 5 권 성 아우구스티누스(St. Augustinus) 김 종 흡 옮김 제 5 권 개요: 성경을 근거로 삼지 않고 자기들의 이성을 근거로 삼아서 이단자들이 주장하는 이론을 반박한다. 성부와 성자의 본질이 같지 않다고 생각하는 자들은, 하나님에 대한 말은 모두 그의 본질에 대한 말이기 때문이라고 한다. 따라서 낳는다와 난다, 또는 난다와 나지 않는다는 서로 다르며 서로 다른 본질이라고 한다. 그러나 저자는 하나님에 대한 말은 모두가 본질에 관한 것은 아니라는 것을 증명한다. 하나님의 본질을 선하시고 위대하시다고 할 때나, 그 밖에 하나님 자신에 대해서 말할 때와 다르다. 그러나 하나님에 대해서 상대적으로, 즉 하나님 자신이 아니라 하나님과 다른 존재와의 관계에 대해서 말하는 것도 있다. 예컨대..
